Gloria Roberts has graduated from dental school twice – first as a
dental hygienist and then, 12 years later, as a dentist. She and her husband, Jeff, live
with their two sons in Overland Park, Kansas. Their oldest son , Spencer inspired Dr.
Roberts to become avidly involved in activities and organizations |
| benefiting people with
special needs. Having attracted patients from as far away as Texas, Dr. Roberts welcomes
and encourages medically compromised or special needs patients to her practice in Overland
Park. In addition to frequently performing in-service training at hospitals and nursing
homes, she also speaks to churches, schools and other interested groups. Dr. Roberts has
been honored as the UMKC School of Dentistry Young Alumna of the Year, as well as, the
recipient of the Arthur E. Iwersen Award for excellence in the field of pediatric
dentistry and the Munksgaard International Award for excellence in the care and treatment
of the geriatric patient. She has been active with the Alice Berry Graham Board at
Children’s Mercy Hospital and UMKC Dental School Recent Graduate Committee. A fellow
and alumni member of the Chi Chapter of Xi Psi Phi, Dr. Roberts is also a member of ADA,
AGD, ASDC, AWDA, ASD, and KDA. |
