the Quintessence Publishing Company Certificate of Merit for outstanding clinical
achievement. He has written several articles for dental journals and the general media on
restorative and preventive dental care, Sports Dentistry, and dental |
| treatment of sleep disorders. He lectures frequently on the maintenance and
prevention of dental injury in sport. Dr. Della Bella is team dentist for Major
League Baseball's Cincinnati Reds, International Hockey League's Cincinnati Cyclones,
International Basketball League's Cincinnati Stuff, and The Sycamore Aviators. Dr. Della
Bella currently serves on the Board of Directors of The Academy for Sports Dentistry. He
is Past President of Children's Dental Care Foundation, Children's Hospital, Cincinnati,
Ohio (1996 -1998), and Past President of The Blue Ash / Montgomery, Ohio Rotary Club (1994
- 1995). When not caring for his patients, Dr. Della Bella is busy raising a family with
his wife, Lana. He has a daughter, Jordan Haley ('92) and a stepdaughter, Sara Ashley
('86). The family lives in Loveland. Dr Della Bella is the President-Elect 2004 of the
International Academy For Sports Dentistry. |

David R. Patton graduated from the Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1991. He
then completed advanced training (GPR) at the Veteran's |
| Administration Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. Since then
Dr. Patton has maintained his private practice. He provides Preventive, Restorative and
Cosmetic Dentistry as well as Sports Dentistry in the Cleveland suburb of Solon, Ohio.
Currently, Dr. Patton is the Team Dentist for the Solon High School Comets. He is on staff
at Saint Vincent Medical Center in Cleveland and a faculty member of Saint Luke's Medical
Center (GPR). Additionally, Dr. Patton provides his expertise in dental and oro-facial
trauma as the Dentist-on-call for the Solon Medical Campus of Saint Vincent's Medical
Center. Dr. Patton is an active member of: the Academy for Sports Dentistry,
International Association of Dental Traumatology, Academy of General Dentistry, American
Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association and the Cleveland Academy of Dental Studies.
He also is a Project Protect task force member (a community
service project to make custom-fitted mouthguards for student athletes). Dr. Patton keeps
abreast of new technology in dentistry as well as the latest advances in Sports Dentistry
by participating in multiple continuing education programs. This includes the annual
Academy for Sports Dentistry's meetings. Dr. Patton enjoys traveling, skiing, sailing and
gardening. Most of all he enjoys his time at home with his family (Joyce, Ian and Madison

Jeff Rosenthal is a 1996 graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry.
Upon completing a general practice residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis,
Missouri he returned to the Cleveland area with his wife Debbie and they currently reside
in University Heights with |
| their son Matthew. His wife is a graduate of West Geauga High
School and the Ohio State University. She is currently employed as an executive recruiter
with J.B. Brown and Associates. Dr. Rosenthal is originally from South Bend, Indiana. His
parents Sheila and Bill currently reside in Baltimore, Maryland. He is the eldest of three
boys. Marc, his middle brother, is a pediatrician residing with his wife Amy in
Providence, Rhode Island and Mike is a professional football player with the New York
Giants and resides with his wife Lindsay in Palisades Park, New Jersey. |
