Peter K. Domoto is the Chair of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry.   He received his DDS degree from the University of California in 1964.  He received his certificate in Pediatric Dentistry in 1970, and earned a Masters of Public Health

degree in 1975 from the University of Washington.  Dr. Domoto is  Professor and Chair of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Washington. Dr. Domoto received an ADA Meritorious Award in Preventive Dentistry in 1974; he was awarded the University of Washington Outstanding Public Service Award for 1995.  He is a well-recognized advocate for children's health and is a spokesperson for effective preventive measures in pediatric oral health.  Dr. Domoto conducts research in applied behavioral science and in caries prevention.
